The purpose of the thesis is to identify factors that affect the efficiency of the Belarusian engineering industry. To achieve this goal, an analysis of various factors affecting the efficiency of the engineering industry in the Republic of Belarus is carried out. The current thesis includes literary research, a methodological part and empirical part. In the course of the literary research, the factors influencing the performance of manufacturing companies in the engineering sector are considered, and information is provided on the engineering industry and its structure in the Republic of Belarus. In the methodological part, the selected factors are divided into industry characteristics and influencing factors that affect the performance of the Belarusian engineering industry. In the empirical part, an analysis of the selected factors is carried out and the possible influence of these factors on the mechanical engineering of the Republic of Belarus is demonstrated. The factors under analysis are as follows: GDP, gross value added, the number of people employed, labour productivity, real pay, foreign trade turnover, and valuation changes. The thesis ends with the conclusions and recommendations, as well as proposals for improving the competitiveness of the enterprises in this sector. In particular, it is proposed to improve economic policy, create conditions for the development of innovative technologies and attract foreign investors. For the successful implementation of these measures, it is essential to provide economic and political stability in the country.

The performance of a legal profession (the Bar) in the Czech Republic and in Belorus

RESUMÉ THE PERFORMANCE OF A LEGAL PROFESSION (THE BAR) IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC AND IN BELARUS The aim of this thesis is to characterize the practice of law in the Czech Republic and Belarus. This theme was chosen because of the comparison of advocacy in both countries and also because of the limited number of literature sources about law practices and advocacy organization in Belarus, to at least briefly cover the operation of this Institute from the very beginning. Czech Republic and Belarus are democratic countries. Czech Republic is a parliamentary form of government. According to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus (1994) it is a presidential republic, with strong centralization of legislative, executive and judicial power in the hands of the president, as evidenced by presidential decrees, which significantly affects the advocacy activities and organization in Belarus. A common feature of both countries is the nature of the mission of advocacy - providing skilled and professional legal assistance in accordance with the law; serving the principles of legality and justice. Monetary policy of the National Bank of Belarus

The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is to analyze the monetary policy of the Republic of Belarus. At the beginning of the first part is described the economic and financial situation in Belarus. Further, the history of the establishment of the central bank, its objectives and functions are discussed. The second part, following the characteristics of the basic monetary policy regimes, focuses on the analysis of the monetary policy of Belarus and its objectives after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Then, the basic principles of the functioning of the transmission mechanism in Belarus are explained. The last part deals with the analysis of selected economic parameters. This section discusses the horizontal structure of the balance of payments for 2016, a graphical analysis of the foreign investment position and the foreign debt of Belarus, the causes of inflation and inflationary pressures, as well as the development of the exchange system and its current trends.

Accounting of corporate tax of business entities in Belarus

This bachelor thesis deals with the issues of identifying and estimating corporate tax of business entities in Belarus. It also contains information about relevant changes in the area of taxation of business entities that radically affect calculation of tax liability. The aim of this work is to inform the reader about two closely related accounting and tax systems of the Republic of Belarus and show both theoretically and practically the procedure of calculating and accounting the tax burden.

The Belarusian economy and the impact of the global crisis on its development

This work focuses on the influence of the global financial and economic crisis on the Belorussian economy. The aim of this paper is to analyse the influence of the global crisis and to develop measures to support its future economic development. The first part of this paper deals with the characterisation of the Belorussian economy, where the main macroeconomic indicators are introduced. Then the paper focuses on the causes and effects of the crisis. In the last part of this paper the influence of the world crisis on the Belorussian economy is analysed.
